CHEEZ WHIZ TRY-ATHLON TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Cheez Whiz Try-Athlon is organized by Mondelez Philippines, Inc. (“the Organizer” or “MDLZ”) which aims to champion the art of TRYING AGAIN into something kids will enjoy again and again with this back-to-school season.

1. WHO CAN JOIN
  1. Kids ages 6-12 years old can TRY and test their physical strength at the Cheez Whiz Try-Athlon Camp to be held on August 27-28, 2023, at Trinoma Activity Center.
  2. Prior to participating in the Camp, the kids must:
    1. Through their parents/guardians, register using this form. The parent/guardian must agree to the terms of the Waiver.
    2. Present either (a) a Cheez Whiz product on site; (b) or receipt of purchase of any Cheez Whiz product bought through either offline or online channel.
  3. Once done with (b), each child will be given a TRY Card to track their journey inside the Try-Athlon.
2. MECHANICS
  1. Participants should be actively supervised by an accompanying adult at ALL TIMES.
  2. To avoid any overcrowding, a maximum of only 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children combined) at a time can be accommodated.
  3. Each participant or guest during the media launch and open to the public can play in the activity area for a maximum of 2 hours only. Inside the camp, kids are allowed to participate in every station in no particular order.
  4. Participants should wear appropriate clothes and shoes inside the camp. Remove any potentially dangerous objects such as jewelry, watch, mobile phone, purses, scarves, buckles, shoes or clothing with drawstrings that can get caught on equipment and pose a strangulation hazard. Glasses should be removed where possible.
  5. Throwing objects at other people or inside the camp is prohibited.
  6. Food and drinks are strictly not allowed inside the camp except during the KOL exclusive launch.
  7. Roughhousing or boisterous behavior which may cause harm to a person is not allowed inside the camp area. Persons behaving in this manner will be automatically removed from the camp
  8. For each station, kids are allowed to try the stations as many times (first attempt and final attempt only will be recorded on the card)
  9. Kids who successfully complete all five stations will get a CER-TRY-FICATE at the end of their journey.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. By participating, the children and their parents/guardians agree:
    1. To be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
    2. To give permission to MDLZ, its affiliates, licensees, successors and assigns, officers, directors, employees, agents, and those acting under their authority, to record, photograph, film, or otherwise capture my child’s name, likeness, voice, actions and biography (collectively, “Likeness”), and to use, and to authorize others to use, my child’s Likeness and photos/videos in any media or platform for any purpose (including consumer research, publicity, and promotion) in perpetuity and throughout the world and without additional compensation.
    3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MDLZ from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees) arising from or related to participant’s violation, breach of these terms and conditions, or injury that the participant may suffer by reason of his/her participation in the Camp;
    4. Attests that the child is not suffering from any injury/illness.
  2. MDLZ reserves the right to amend this Terms and Conditions, as well as to suspend, modify or cancel the event at any time with no prior notice.
  3. The supply of any personal information /sensitive personal information (name, name of child, city of residence, email, contact number) for this event will constitute consent for MDLZ, or its duly authorized representatives, to use the same in relation to the event, other promotional activities, and for other legal purposes. MDLZ will not sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party other than as explicitly described herein and in accordance with MDLZ’ Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy | Philippines | Mondelēz International, Inc.   4. This Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
