- In a frying pan, sauté garlic and onions in hot oil and cook until translucent. Then add in the ground pork until browned, mix in the soy sauce and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce and season with black pepper and simmer until the ground pork is tender. Just before turning off the heat, add the red bell pepper and green peas. Turn off the heat and set aside for the mixture to cool.
- Once cooled, add the raw eggs and the Eden Cheese cubes. Mix well, making sure that the ground pork mixture is fully coated with egg.
- Oil 4 llaneras. Assemble the carrots, egg slices and cubed Eden Cheese according to your preference. Transfer the ground pork & egg mixture to the llaneras. Cover with foil and steam for 45 minutes to an hour in low heat. The hardinera is cooked once it has firmed up and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle. Enjoy freshly cooked or cold.
