Putting it together
Screen On Mode
- In a bowl, marinade pork in vinegar, soy sauce, and pineapple juice for about 30 minutes. Before cooking, drain the meat and reserve the marinade.
- Using medium heat, heat oil in a medium skillet, and lightly sauté onions and garlic. Add the pork belly and cook until lightly browned. Add marinade and bring to a boil for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add peppercorns, bay leaf, tausi, and banana blossoms. Stir to combine. Cover and lower the heat, then simmer until pork is tender.
- Mix in brown sugar until dissolved. Add in the Eden Cheese cubes and continue to cook until liquid is reduced. Once the fat of the pork begins to render, dish is ready to serve. Enjoy with hot steaming rice.
