Screen On Mode
- Meat sauce In a large pan, fry ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onions, garlic, celery and carrot, and cook until softened. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, pepper. Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Béchamel sauce Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. Gradually stir in the milk to prevent lumps. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove 3/4 of the béchamel sauce from the pot and melt in 1 pack of the Eden Creamy Slices in the remaining 1/4 portion of the béchamel. Use this to top your cheesy lasagna.
- Assemble the lasagna: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a portion of the béchamel, meat sauce, and Eden Creamy Slices. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Finish assembling the lasagna by spreading the cheesy béchamel sauce on top.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Let it cool for 10 minutes and serve.
