Putting it together
Screen On Mode
- Marinade pork meat in soy sauce, calamansi juice and pepper for 30 min to an hour. Set aside.
- Heat cooking oil and fry carrots, potatoes and bell pepper. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and onions in the same oil until softened.
- Add in the pork, without the marinade, and cook until brown.
- Add water, laurel leaves and remaining marinade. Boil until tender for 30 minutes and until liquid has reduced.
- Mix in tomato sauce and brown sugar. Simmer for 15 more minutes then add the carrots, potatoes and bell peppers.
- Finish off by adding Eden cheese cubes/stars for that extra savory and creamy menudo.
