- For the ala King Sauce: In a pan over low-medium heat, melt in the butter, then add in the onion and sauté until translucent.
- Then add in the carrots, celery, potato, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add in water, milk and 3/4 bar of grated Eden Cheese and bring into a boil. Season with salt and pepper, then continue to simmer and stir until you get the desired consistency of the sauce. Then set aside.
- For the Chicken Fillet: Place a piece of chicken breast fillet in between plastic wrap. With a meat tenderizer or heavy pan, flatten the chicken to at least 1/4” thickness. Repeat with rest of chicken.
- In a bowl marinate the chicken with salt, ground pepper, garlic powder, calamansi juice, and paprika. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Dredge the chicken with flour, then eggs and lastly with flour. Make sure that the chicken is well coated. Deep fry the chicken over high-medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the color turns golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken fillet onto a plate and top with the Ala King sauce, parsley and the remaining grated Eden Cheese. Serve and enjoy.
